White Oak School is a public separate day school designed with a therapeutic focus. The program addresses the unique needs of preschool and elementary age children.

It provides highly structured academic, behavioral, and therapeutic services designed to expand each learner's success. All White Oak students show complex learning needs which require more intensive resources and support than can be provided in a regular education setting or even in a self-contained special education classroom environment.

White Oak School will provide both academic and therapeutic services for students impacted by a variety of disabilities with a focus on student with behavior disorders.  Special Educators, related service providers, mental health service providers, community, and system resources will join together to help students gain the knowledge and skills to participate meaningfully in our society.

The mission of White Oak School, a public separate day school, is to provide highly structured, academic, behavioral, and therapeutic support services that enable all students with special needs to reach their highest potential, such as be college and/or career ready.  Students will meaningfully participate in society as responsible, productive citizens, and lifelong learners.

Our ultimate goal, consistent with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, is to meet the current academic, social, and emotional needs of every student while assisting them in acquiring the necessary skills for transition to the least restrictive environment.
