Vision
White Oak School will provide both academic and behavioral services for students impacted by a variety of disabilities with a focus on students with behavioral disorders. Special educators, behavioral interventionists, related service providers, community, and system resources will join together to help students gain the knowledge and skills to be responsible, productive citizens, and lifelong learners.
Mission
White Oak seeks to create a challenging learning environment that encourages high expectations for success through differentiated instruction that allows for individual differences and learning styles. Our school strives to promote a safe, orderly, caring, and supportive environment. Each student’s self-esteem is fostered by positive relationships with students and staff. Our ultimate goal, consistent with the Individuals with Disability Education Act, is to meet the current academic, social, and emotional needs of every student while assisting them in acquiring the necessary skills for transition to the least restrictive environment.
